A selection of images from a lifetime with cameras. |
Storm
clouds passing Colac on a hot summer night in January 2006. One
of the first of many photographs taken with the wizard new Panasonic
digital camera, purchased after much deliberation over whether or
not to go for a reflex or this way. I can't see the benefit of a
reflex when with an electronic viewfinder what you see really is
what you get, through an optical viewfinder it's not what you'll
get, even if it passes through a system of mirrors and junk so you
get to see through the lens. Rather spend the money on a damned
good Leica lens and an all-in-one system that could perhaps just
do with a wide-angle conversion lens. Bring on the clouds. |
